Jennifer Sheean TEP has practised at the Queensland Bar since 2011, in equity and trusts, mediation, wills and estates, and estate litigation. From the Inns of Court in Brisbane, she assists parties to resolve trust and estate disputes minimising the need for litigation would cost the client time, money, confidentiality and stress.
A long-standing specialisation in equity and trust law
Jennifer Sheean has practised at the Queensland Bar since 2011, called after working as Associate to the late Justice R. P. Meagher on the New South Wales Court of Appeal, practising as a solicitor, and lecturing for the College of Law. That grounding shaped a long-standing specialisation in equity and trust law.
Today Jennifer practices from the Inns of Court in Brisbane’s legal precinct, with over 15 years’ standing at the Bar behind her. She holds a STEP Advanced Certificate in Cross-Border Estates, is a member of the STEP Australia Policy and Advocacy Committee, is a co-deputy chair at step Australia, sits as a sessional Member of QCAT, and is an AMDRAS-accredited mediator.
